Maybe its time for coach to hire a full time special teams coach... either that or we should spend a lot more time practicing every aspect of special teams, including substitutions.

We definitely need a dedicated special teams guy. We've had how many punts/kicks blocked and returned for touchdowns the last few years?

Crazy how that series worked out. Another dumb procedure penalty takes a TD off the board, then we can't punch it in, then a defender uses his teammates to propel himself into the air which is a penalty, and the blocked FG falls directly to a TTech player.

Agree with you but ... a thought: If we had a dedicated special teams coach, he could be thinnking that over and working on it as soon as the injury happens. Make sure all the PAT squad is on the same page, even the backups.
So if we add a ST coach, do we lose a coach somewhere else?
