I’m still not sold on our team. Defensive pass coverage is very suspect. Purdy still has regressed. I do have hope and what they do this next week will be a lead in to the rest of the season. Glad it’s at home.

K-State was a 28 point underdog, so it appears that we're looking at a 2 touchdown victory here, and Campbell becomes the first ISU coach (probably) to beat Oklahoma twice.

The key to beating Oklahoma is to get to Rattler. He is excellent when he has time to throw. Hit him a few times and make him run for his life and he becomes quite mortal.
I have actually enjoyed the Oklahoma week the last few years. You go to their fan sites and nobody talks about our game, they are already discussing whether Texas will give them their 2nd loss of the year.

Aka the Mike Tyson defense. Everyone has a plan until you punch them in the mouth.
OU has the talent to put up points. The question is how many mistakes they'll make that we can end up with turnovers. Their defense certainly will give up plenty of points, but not enough to trade punch for punch. We need big plays from our defense to stay in this one.
