Slow going so far. Damn squirrels are disrupting things.

Had this in my back yard yesterday. Don’t need one of these either. Not a ground “squirrel”. 084697C0-A4E8-4E6F-856F-82FFA7B308B9.jpeg

Took a bike break from the rodent campaign. 28 miles. DND.

When I got back I found a squirrel had squeezed into the small chipmunk trap. Probably same one that was interfering with the drowning bucket trap. Should count as 4 on my fighter ace scale since it's 4 times the mass? But I guess not, aces didn't get more credit for a big bomber downed. Still, that makes five, an ace in less than 8 hours.

Just don't imitate my one housemate in NY who saw a mouse at 10:30 PM and was chasing it with a frying pan (one of my good ones) while pushing furniture out of the way so he could get a clear swing at it. I remember waking up going WTF is going on downstairs.

Hoping to not awake to chipmunk chirps/squeaks in the house tomorrow morning. Still no idea how/where they are getting in. Stucco house with no exposed wood except maybe under front door where porch decking runs? They don't appear to be able to find their way out once they squeeze in.

Cause rodents, they may have found a place where the wood has begun to rot and chewed their way in. Not likely, I suppose, but possible.......
