Any conversation with heft has to include a question about Pete Taylor memories. With not much for tv at the time Pete played a huge part in my Iowa state memories.
Would love to hear about untold recruiting stories. For instance, I remember Iowa state was recruiting Isaiah Stokes in basketball. He apparently signed with Florida then denied it on Twitter. There has to be odd things going on behind the scenes all the time.

We need a podcast that tells the history of ISU football uniforms, as well as interviewing the equipment managers.

Related: we’re probably still at least 5 years away from getting the unvarnished truth, but I can’t wait for the oral history (or a deep dive) on the 14-15 basketball team.
Edit: with 6-7 guys and multiple coaches who have spent legitimate time in the NBA (!!!).

They mentioned the 2001 Nebraska game wasn't on TV. Yes it was, I was in Lacrosse Wisconsin for October Fest and I saw it on TV in a bar. It was that old FOX Sports tv deal the Big 12 had. Remember that? It was a bad tv deal, not all the markets would even play the Big 12 game. I was at my brothers house in Boston and tried to watch a game, but they were showing truck racing on their FOX Sports NE. Another time I was in Minnesota, and they show women's soccer rather than a Big 12 football game.
And I listened (and had forgotten). Like I said, I think we’re at least 5 years away, maybe 10+, before everyone is in a position where they feel like they can speak freely about it.
Great podcast as usual, I really enjoy listening to them.
