Nice work by the staff. Harris and JCL >TL, Zion, Grill. As far as the transfer season goes, they've already upgraded. Anything else is gravy. A lot of length, talent and athleticism coming in to the program next season.

Looking forward to the nay-sayers tying themselves in knots looking for a black lining to the commitment.

reading through posts is why i come to this site. I appreciate all the other stuff they do (pod casts, articles, etc.), but i don't utilize that stuff.
Waste more time at work that way ;)

Also, awesome pickup. Hopefully one more contributor then a good sit out or bank it

I think they want to bank the 4th one for a mid year guy. I’m not sure what they’ll have open next year.
.

With players being immediately eligible starting 2021/22 school year it will be interesting how that impacts mid-year transfers.

There is definitely the potential if a player is unhappy with a school or basketball program, there could be a big rise in mid-year transfers. Practice with their new team during spring semester to learn system and be ready to go fall semester.

The Christmas break wouldn't be a bad time to take recruiting visits. Be a round the coaches/team when they have practices/games.

I can’t see them counting mid-year transfers as immediately eligible the very next semester. Immediately eligible the immediately following academic year, yes.

Definitely worth the read

I am even more excited about him after reading that. The kid is a leader. Also, as an ISU SCM grad, I enjoyed this part:

“I’ve always been interested in business, marketing,” he says. “I want to be more specific — supply chain management“

I wonder if our great Supply Chain program played a part in his commitment. Love to see it!

Hell we could've used him against Tech Last year.

Starters:
Coleman-Lands
Bolton
Johnson
Foster
Young

Harris obviously factors in and if eligible probably starts and kicks Foster to bench at least when season starts. (Mainly because Prohm goes with vets first even if they are transfers)

But Walker, Dubar, Blackwell and Foster are as good as any Fr class we have EVER brought in. They are Dudes!

So the first thing I think about after landing a big fish is getting my line back into the water and seeing if I get another one. With 2 scholarships left do we try to get another or what?

I'd think CSP doesn't have a choice but to try to add as many pieces as possible.

I think we get particular. Smith would be a near perfect fit. Need to keep one on hold for an emergency PG if Harris doesn't get a waiver or a possible in season transfer if he does.

Including Harris we basically now have 5 returning starters.

Probably 1 more, then banking the last one unless we could get exactly the piece we needed.
