JFC I can't believe we still have to explain this to people. Do you not know how to process information? You keep saying **** that flat out isn't true.

Nice slight of hand but that is not the graph discussed. Way to try and cherry pick NYC data though, which we've already shown/discussed had different problems. Likely related to the treatment received by the people who are supposed to be helping the patients. I will counter your cherry picked data with that from every state. With excluding just New York the Deaths per million in the US would be just 10 per 100,000.

In addition, these curves are also almost symmetric, so the death rate is going to drop rapidly. The total deaths (area under the curve) will not differ much from the flu. It just means this thing is really contagious and burned through very quickly, which we knew.

it’s worth asking yourself - why is a website devoted to the Austrian School of Economics writing articles pushing the misleading idea that Covid-19 is “just the flu”? It seems like a political agenda to me.

I'm following the virus on one other forum, it's the only two I really participate in. By coincidence, the thread on the other forum went from borderline useless to completely off the rails yesterday, this one today. Both were over a single joke.

People are starting to crack up.

It’s beneficial to have a good frank discussion I think...

Wierd how Reynolds won't be going to church in person or to a farmers market this weekend and Grassley won't be dining out.

Well, they are manipulative and callous but they aren't actually stupid enough to believe all of their public positions BS. It's more politics than real beliefs or convictions.

Wouldn't want to pay regular people their benefits either.
