Testing for Utah being done at a small hospital lab in Orem. Didn't Reynolds say TestIowa tests are processed in Iowa?
Yes. TestIowa tests are, allegedly, processed at the state hygenic lab.

That looks 2 weekds out of date. The end of the "observed data line" cuts off just past mid-april. As of today, the U.S. is reporting just over 62,000 deaths if you want to compare it to those model predictions. Looks pretty close to the IHME model actually. Here is a good summary of the various models currently out.

That's not a crisis. That represents idiots not understanding statistics. If you test more people fewer of them are going to be positive.Especially when they've made it so darn difficult to test unless you have pretty much been diagnosed before they even give you a test.

This would depend entirely upon the CDC having peoples best interest in mind. Did you know they aren't even a government agency and get a majority of funding from private organizations?

The hygienic lab is validating TestIowa and training temp people for the TestIowa process. Might explain the lower test counts the last couple days.Don’t really understand this. I would think we should be going back up after coming down from the spike at the meat processing facilities.
You have too many bosses or heads of companies/businesses that can't operate if they're not overseeing all operations physically, while probably at the same time don't like 'big brother'. Oddly many people that I've had as bosses that behave this way were horrible at delegating in general.
There's some stuff being figured out as we go and hopefully it finds a balance going forward.
For example it's not the same as being there for the appointment to work things out, but I had a Zoom PT appointment the other day that was basically just as productive as when I could go in. Issue being many don't have the luxury of being able to attend virtually.
Running out of people who even care to get tested.
And how many people die every year on average? How many die from the flu every year? Pretty similar, perhaps slightly higher and that's due to the incentive for hospitals to just list every death as COVID related.
What’s your source?

Anyone watch the press conference? Was Kim as testy as usual?
Also the SW region of Iowa is up to a 7. I think they've been a 5.
Looking it up....although I'm sure its not on the Twitter/Google/Microsoft approved list.
They are only quasi-governmental like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (until they went belly up and were re-nationalized in the last crisis).
