With everybody WFH or quarantined this week. It would be an EXCELLENT mailbag weekend. GTO and pants are missing a big one.

I wish.

I'm going in to work tomorrow "blind" since the new hours were announced...but a LOT of people are I suppose since the email wasn't released to the media outlets until right before 5p.

Lew was going to pick up powdered milk in case we have to start baking our own bread. No joy. I didn't think people would think of that, but I guess it lasts longer than the fresh stuff in desperate times.
You can bake plain old white bread without milk. I just use the recipe on the Gold Medal bread flour package. I added some powdered buttermilk last time and I thought it changed the texture a bit.

As of this morning my sister's gym is still open. They have always kept spray bottles and towels with all the machines and are reminding everyone to be extra diligent in keeping things clean. They are also limiting class sizes.
That didn't last. They are now closed

Bought some of those nature valley biscuits you mentioned. Now I’m going to have to see what I have for breakfast tomorrow
That's pretty much all I eat on a work morning. Get to the office have a cup of coffee or two, then eat one between 8-9. By about 11 I am ready to eat but hold out till 11:30-12:00
Started doing that about 4 months ago. If I didn't eat anything I would start getting hangry. I have boxes of them at work. Peanut butter, Almond butter and cocoa almond butter with cinnamon.

Not exactly sure.
Grocery store now limiting everyone to 1 of any item.

So if you want to grill burgers for the family that may be like 4-5 store trips? One for the meat, 1 for the buns, 1 for each condiment? Throw in some beans and slaw and a drink and that’s like 8 or 9 times you are going in and out.

No, you can load up a cart, just no multiples of items. I meant to say each not any.

Chore for today was sorting through the stuff in the freezers. We have one elderly upright & one elderly side by side fridge/freezer in the garage, and our regular side by side fridge/freezer indoors. Categorized and (wait for it, @cowgirl836) made an Excel file listing items & expiry dates. So now we know what we have on hand, and have an idea of how to space it out some.

Lew was one of ten kids on a farm, so his grocery shopping still reflects the possibility of being snowed in with that many mouths to feed. We tend to buy bulk & on sale, so we're mostly well stocked already with the exception of perishables. If we go to a more severe lock-down we should be okay for a minimum of several weeks with the exception of milk and maybe eggs.

Good. I suppose if you had to you could go back one day after.

Does anyone know how restocking goes for these places? Is there a plan in place for that?
Neighbor to the local store owner. Was going to get a full pork loin to smoke this weekend. He was out and said it would be on the truck tomorrow. If you are a repeat customer they will let you know.
