Total bs on prohms part for playing grill over t lew, and for putting Jackson BACK in the game with 2 fouls before finally putting Lewis in with <2 to go in the half
This aged about as well as I expected.

What did he do? He had decent production the previous couple games; just bizarre how his mins suddenly get cut.
He did get a really big round of applause when he checked in. Like a statement round of applause.
The Lewis situation completely baffles me. I want to give Prohm the benefit of the doubt for whatever goes on behind closed doors, but from a fan's point of view it makes zero sense.
I am no longer believing the "he doesnt play good enough defense" bs any more. Some of the guys we have on the floor do some really idiotic stuff and Lewis isnt any worse. Mind boggling the game he plays against Auburn and then plays a whole 2 minutes against Baylor

I was just talking about his minutes tonight with family. I'm totally confused just like everyone else on this thread. I know people always comment about his deficiency on defense but tell me one player that we have on the team that plays good defense? We're down by 20 why is the kid not getting more than 2 minutes?

This is where I think he went wrong with Cam, too. Hopefully Steve has/had explicitly spelled out to these individuals what they have done wrong, how long they will be out, and what they can do to help the team and increase their playing time. This vague I need to get him ready for life after basketball and quasi suspensions just cause players to check out.
I just don’t understand Prohm’s vague responses. Does he think playing this game of hot potato with him has been an effective way to help him “grow” off and on the court? It’s just strange.
Explains everything. Thanks for digging this up. Prohm is a good person. He is a basketball coach first. Anything else he's trying to do, life coach etc., should come second. There are other people paid to do those things. He is paid to win ball games.
