The kid was a shooter in HS, this is a pretty good opportunity to give him some live shots to see if he get some confidence. So far, it isn't working, but you have to use a lead as a chance to try.
He said in KU post-game that eventually they would all go down.
Just to see them playing hard and with players that compliment one anothers' skills.
I think with this type of game they at least compete with Iowa and stay within 15 of KU (they're a totally different thing).
I mean if Grill's out there to get some run, fine, but why not TL to keep his own rhythm going?

Uh oh, this reminds me of when you lost faith in CPR, you beat that drum until he was let go. (Not saying you were wrong about CPR losing the team.) But guessing you will not let any positive for coach be a positive for him.
A feel good win and the flow was more like what what you expect for a game in Ames.

Explain how Lewis doesn’t get more time in the 2nd half. Give it your best please. He probably doesn’t even play next game.
Credit where it is due tonight. Been a rough stretch and a lot of very warranted criticism all around, but the guys showed up tonight in a big way. Really needed this one with the upcoming stretch.
I have heard a lot of thoughts on what turn things around for the team tonight but I haven't seen a full analysis of CSP wardrobe. If I recall, there was some feeling that the navy pants/tan shoes could be at the root of things. Could the change in slacks have been the missing link?
