It's easy to be fooled by bad teams showing signs of life.
I feel some ISU wisdom/pain in this post.

Heck, he only had 9 and 10 win seasons all 7 years. They've been below average now for 5 seasons. They fired Pelini who consistently won 8-9 games and have struggled with bowl eligibility since. It is glorious.
Washington State is the only one I can think of, and its because they have the Godfather of the spread offense.Frost's mistake is thinking the fast-paced spread offense he used at Oregon and UCF would work at Nebraska. I can't think of any cold weather team that uses that system effectively.
And after he was fired, the AD stated “Pelini hadn’t won the games that really mattered against top tier opponents.” Man, that sounds eerily similar to the current situation at another Big 10 school. That coach also has pretty much exactly the same yearly records as Bo did.9-4

Following a coach that missed bowl games 2 out of 4 years. Bo Pelini is likely to go down as their best coach in the 21st century.

Hoping they are 5-6 coming into the Iowa game hungry for a bowl game berth.
I hope they come in 4-7 and end up with 7 loses
