Enjoy this time of year for TV viewing. Syfy and other channels show classic horror movies.

Nightmare on Elm Street on now. Part genius and part laughable. All 80s.

@NWICY I hope you had a good day today! My phone was dying early yesterday so I was extremely limited on phone responses and then didn't look at it much last night.

Lots of rain the past couple days. Think there's some dampness around a small wall/floor crack in the basement so that seems worth watching. IDK, it was hard to tell but seemed like a small area had been damp.

What else.....child continues to be adorable. I had something else but I forgot now.

@BoxsterCy, got to meet a french woman today her accent was lovely, her name was not Monique. Probably tall enough for you, not tall tall but with the accent I'm sure you would have bought her a glass of fine wine. Pretty sure I came close to the 1,000 mile mark the last couple of days.

Natalie Portman is on Jimmy Fallon she really does not look like she is 38 yrs old. Not quite as timeless as J-Lo or Jennifer Anniston, but I wouldn't have guessed 38.

Pending on what my Dad says, I might have 2 extra tickets to the game Saturday, south endzone. Anyone interested?
Don’t need the tickets but if you promise to behave we could try to meet up and say hi.
I’m trying to figure out the next best place to stand during a lightning delay.

At this point I am just happy that it is just going to be rain on Saturday. Layers and a poncho it is.

Not exactly sure.
Thumbing through the channels for lunch. Haven’t seen Dana Perino in a long time, wow, she has gotten rather attractive. Although she somehow doesn’t move her mouth when she talks and that seems odd.

So just as we went from winter directly into summer, so now we go from summer right back into winter again.

Oh BTW, every time I hear Jimmy Buffett sing "Margaritaville" I think of @BoxsterCy.

SC, heard the bad news about the pastor down in your area. Prayers with his family.

Yeah, very well-liked dude. Did a lot with law enforcement, acted as chaplain for several groups. A sad thing. My dad was a pastor, he had a guy point a gun at him at 3:30 in the morning and say "You know I could kill you right now and no one would stop me?"

Those guys put up with an awful lot.

I'm still waiting for summer to end down here in Houston. I'm excited that the 'cold' front next week will have the high down in the upper 80s and low will be in the low 70s. We might even get a low below 70 middle of next week. Average temperature for Houston in September was like 86 degrees.
