If you weren't able to watch that you need to find a copy and watch it. They laid out exactly what they know and when they knew it. Nothing vague, straight to the point with facts.

Beautiful.

If anyone is aware of a link please share.

Where they love the governor
Another hard hitting question by Randy. LOL Something about "how will we know when this is over?"

First thing that popped into my head:

I cannot believe that JP pretty much indicated that from the video it appears that despite being asked to leave by a clear exit, the Hawkeye band elected to force their way through a crowd of people and no reporter in that room felt that was worthy of exploring further.

Well we’ve got a guy that tried to blame ISU fans for breaking his leg, a guy that solicits prostitutes, and a guy working his ass off to get out of the market.

At least we finally have the actual allegations as from UI Marching Band
  1. A teaching assistant had beer thrown on them
  2. “Something” was thrown at the football team’s bus shortly after the game but not when any UI personnel were present. A windshield on the football team’s bus was cracked (nothing involving band here).
  3. The Hawkeye band director and the ISU facilities manager had a verbal altercation on the field after the game (I heard the ISU guy was upset that they were on the field and potentially causing damage to the turf).
  4. A UI band member tried to enter the Bergstrom facility through the ISU football team entrance and was denied, causing an confrontation with security.
  5. A member of the marching band was carrying a ladder and another member of the band was shoved and fell onto the ladder causing the person carrying the ladder broken ribs.
#5 is the most serious and could be said was completely accidental as the shoved member fell into the ladder causing injury to the person carrying the ladder. No impact to the member that was shoved. Nothing about sexual assault as all of the new reports keep alleging.

Worse things happened when we played Davenport schools back in the leather helmet era. (1980's football talk. Uncle Rico style, kids)

Other than the shove....is there any there there?

What level of sexual assault could take place on someone wearing a band uniform in a location with upwards of 100,000 people?

From witnessing such things in Kinnick, it is usually of a groping variety.

Groping the young women in the band on the chest, crotch, and backside.

All that being unwanted contact of a sexual nature so... sexual assault.

I have yet to figure out who the victim is.

Sounds like Hawkeye and Iowa State fans that were trying to exit but were pummeled by the hok, while blaring loud noises directly into the victims victim's ears.

I cannot believe that JP pretty much indicated that from the video it appears that despite being asked to leave by a clear exit, the Hawkeye band elected to force their way through a crowd of people and no reporter in that room felt that was worthy of exploring further.

Wasnt Chris there? Why didnt he explore further?

Iowa Band: Should we swim with a pool filled with sharks or one without?
ISU security: Don't swim with sharks.
After swimming with sharks, Iowa band: Crying....I didn't know the sharks would bite!
UI admin lifeguards: Zzzzzzzzz........
