And then it occurred to me what that really meant.
It's super easy,Ok the first part I followed but the bolded part your just showing off
Once you make a route on Google maps you click a button to create a web link then click on "send to phone" and input your number and click ok.
The QR code you just go to a QR code generator and click Web Address and then paste the Web address in and it creates the QR symbol.
FYI the code I created is perfectly safe. It just links to the Off Topic Forum
What's the fun in a QR code if it's perfectly safe?
Edit: Never mind. My scan opened up to an ad promoting a below the waist grooming and hygiene tool.
Those three little words piss me off more than any others...especially when a young person is explaining new tech to me. It makes me feel stupid, and I was working with computers before their parents were born.

Really all you have to do is steps 1 & 2 and the code is created on the right. Then you download or just use the snipping tool to grab it.

Yeah...I joke about it, but it really does make me feel stupid at times. Especially when I'm buying a new phone. Dollars to donuts I won't use a lot of the stuff they show me, but they go whipping through the explanations and say "here you go", and I'm left trying to figure out how to make a damn phone call. I can do html code, but I can't make a QR code. There's only so much more I can stuff in my brain, and it's already so full of useless music & movie trivia...
Go to the "Search Windows" box in the lower left hand and type "snip" and you get the windows Snipping Tool. You use that to copy and paste anything from your PC screen and save it as a jpeg or png file. It's a great tool

I used to be able to program in C++ but those days are long behind me. I am now confused more easily.
