Eh. I’m fine with it he is kicked off. Up to Prohm. But I’ll never get turned on by the thought of a coach being a hardass like a lot of fans do. Guess I’ve just never had a Authoritarian streak in me.

Lol Prohm? A hard ass? That’s a good one.

He’s tough when the situation calls for it, but calling him a hard ass is laughable.

No doubt Prohm has been patient. It’s his job to deal with egos, personalities and players in whatever way he thinks is best for the player and ISU. Clearly Prohm has believed that is the best approach with Lard.
A lot of schools would of booted him already. Not sure Lard wants to play basketball. Obviously he doesn't like rules.

Always love the posters that pull the "we can't judge until we know what he did" or "I'm waiting until all the facts come out."

The facts have come out. He has violated team rules in the past. He violated team rules again. Unless you think team rules are not clearly stated or that Prohm is playing gotcha with Lard, it is perfectly reasonable to criticize a man for letting his teammates down because he can't take care of his business. What a bunch of dumbasses outside the program think doesn't matter.

Prohm may be accused of a lot of things......but being a hard ass isn't one of them. Especially when it comes to Cam Lard.
He is either a hard ass or way to soft. I lean towards hard ass because of the McKay situation. Obviously we don’t know all of the details so we can never know the exact circumstances but we can make inferences. Prohm obviously has higher expectations for the players in practice than Fred did. Which way is right who knows. All I know is the current way Prohm runs things isn’t exactly compatible with what Lard is responding to. We shouldn’t continue to have these issues after 2.5 years. Something needs to change.

Way up there
Hope the meeting with Prohm goes well Monday, look forward to having Cam back the rest of the year. Great chance for Talley and/or Conditt today. It'd be really nice if Talley played so well that he forced Prohm to play him more the rest of the year. His versatility could be huge match up-wise in the tourney.

Yup, that's what he's claiming. You're entitled to do that if you have ESP and know exactly what happened.

Well it came through the source that texted me he didn’t make the trip at 10pm last night. Well before the media we’re notified of it this morning, so I’d say it’s a good chance of being correct, given lard’s history, it sure seems plausible.

It depends on what he did. I personally don't think being late to practice for example is "trouble", more not being responsible.

Yeah I’m sure he showed up late, apologized to coach, asked for forgiveness from his teammates, asked Prohm what he could do to make it up to everyone, and Prohm said stay home from Austin. I’m sure it played out just like that.

CSP is a drama queen he’s always suspending people because it’s for their own good or builds character but in reality he just makes the situation worse then his teams stink. This is 2019 19 yr olds don’t respond well to heavy handed punishments. Time to get with the times I think. There are more ways to handle these situations.

I know this is an awful angle to look at it but how the hell does he keep getting caught?

If that's the reason it's because he can't figure it out.

The ONLY reason you get busted is to put yourself in a position to get busted, and at some point that's a choice.

Like not making players practice or holding them accountable?
