Testifying
Maybe a little surprised KState is behind us.
Tech has only played for the title once.

I don't look for Dean Wade to play in it at all. He hasn't practiced for 3 weeks the way it is and Kam Stokes not much either. This is a meaningless money grab tournament that matters to teams on the bubble, no one else. K-State might as well be 100-1 with WVU.

Boy, that loss last night took quite a toll. I have a feeling the K State fans that show up to KC won't think it's meaningless, especially if there's a KU rematch.

These tournaments, and especially the Big 12 tournament, take on a life of their own.

Regardless of how the rest of the regular season turns out, Dean Wade should not play in the Big 12 Tournament. Why? Because compared to a run in the NCAA Tournament, it pales. Let's give it our best shot for the next 3 games with a gimpy Wade and then give him 11-12 days off. Do we really want to play in the NCAA Tournament again without him? That four-leaf clover has already been used.

There is little likelihood that Dean can play 3 straight days in Kansas City and then be ready to play again in 4 or 5 days.

Oh, and I'm perfectly fine with sharing the Big 12 regular season title with Texas Tech at 14-4 because ... well, you know why.

It's not really a title. It's a post-season trophy. Anyway, I don't look for Dean Wade to play in it at all. He hasn't practiced for 3 weeks the way it is and Kam Stokes not much either. This is a meaningless money grab tournament that matters to teams on the bubble, no one else. K-State might as well be 100-1 with WVU.

It matters a lot to the fans that go. I understand that teams have higher aspirations, but it’s fun, and it’s sports near their best.

Wow, you need to wash that pee out of your cereal bowl. I love the Big 12 tournament, regardless of ISU's seed. I consider it the unofficial beginning of Spring.

Let's get another one!

Seems right, even with over reaction and doubt that the fan base has had the past two weeks the metrics still like ISU and most national media believe (as I do) ISU is the most talent team in the Big 12.
The tourney format sets up well for a team like ISU. Multiple players are capable of 20+ points from game to game to pick up the slack if foul trouble, injury or an off night of a starter occurs. The lack of prep time for the D also limits opponents from scheming specifically for ISU individual players.

To sum it up I'm not surprised Vegas is still viewing ISU a favorite tourney team to go far (both tourneys).

Yeah, I’d want Wade to sit if he was on ISU for sure.

As down as I have been on our regular season performance, I actually agree with this. We are a team with a lot of weapons and will bring as much of a home court to this event as any school.

KSU is banged up and may need to dial it back. KU can't win away from home. Tech is fine, but they won't bring any fan support. I have to think that plays a big roll in the poor performance of the Texas schools in the finals. They are typically matched up with ISU, KU, or back in the day Mizzou in what is practically a road game in the championship.

K-States Net ranking could jump significantly if they won the Big 12 tournament. Their seed line could easily improve by 2 or even 3 seed lines.

Ok, admittedly I am not well versed in the area of odds betting. If putting in order the odds rank from Caesar’s what would it look like?
