Don't worry, the whiny ass fans will not let the two home losses to tourney-projected teams go. This team having huge balls on the road and the fact that 8/10 league teams are projected to get in the dance will not keep them from finding something to complain about.

I love this team.

ISU shot well and were fortunate that Wade got hurt, but still like the toughness that Prohm was looking for down the stretch. Hard to win on the road, especially when the officials are determined the help the home team. ISU finally got a couple call at the end of the game, although I thought the T on Lard was total BS.

I give up trying to figure out what this team is going to do game by game.

Gonna guess play like a young but talented team that has potential to make the most miserable fans (not you) maybe enjoy ISU basketball.

I bet Kansas fans love Iowa State today!!!
They did. I switched over to their game after ours ended, and they were showing the final seconds on their big screen, and the KU fans were all cheering. Sucks that beating KSU was better for KU than it was for us.

It's in the book. Lard has been called on this before. He needs to control his mouth. It ain't like this was out of the blue. But I was impressed how he handled it when he was called. Progress is definitely being made.

I agree that it could have been called, but it could have not been called too. The official determined that Lard was yelling in the KSU guys face, but it looked to me like he was just yelling because he got a dunk. I have certainly seen a lot of other players get away with stuff like that without a T. Lard does need to learn to keep his focus on the game at hand
