Does kind of make you wonder what the plan is with so many bigs on the roster for next season (Anderson included) especially if we dont chose to go with two bigs more often. Really liked how smooth Solo's shooting stroke looked in limited action this year. To much talent is a good thing, but also means their definitely will be attrition.

I wonder what is the highest assist pairing in school history.

Morris and Niang perhaps?

In very limited minutes he is 7th in blocks per game in the Big 12 and he is FAR AND AWAY #1 in the Big 12 in blocks per 40m at 5.8 per 40minutes.

When he gets starter minutes I'd be shocked if he isn't over 3 blocks per game.
I wonder how many BPM Lard has.

I'm pretty confident Stinson and Blalock have those two beat, at least on a per game basis, but I really don't know otherwise. I don't know how many per game Tinsley put up, but I suppose if he had enough than him and Horton could be up there.

I don't know, but Conditt's current block shot rate would be #2 in the country on kenpom if he played 40% of the minutes. Lard would be top 10. I do not expect either of their rates to hold as they play more minutes, but they're extremely high right now.

Hornacek and Grayer were fun to watch.

Meyer 1st round pick
Hoiberg 2nd round
Mickalek
Beachum

It will be interesting to compare final numbers when this class careers are over.

What about BAM? (Mark) Baugh, (Victor) Alexander, and (Sam) Mack? Vic was a 1st round pick I think, and Mack had a decent NBA career after transferring from ISU.

Fify, actually didn't remember Mack made the NBA.

Pretty impressive hands for a big guy. There was a play where I think Wiggs rifled a ball into him on a pick and roll and it was down by his knees and he handled it clean in traffic and put it in.

That’s the thing that has stuck out to me. Other than the shot blocking which I knew he had, it’s his hands that have impressed me the most.

One thing is for sure, this was an AMAZING freshman recruiting class! Probably better than the one that included Hoiberg, Mikalik (sp?) and Meyer. Even those players didn't have the impact as true freshmen that THT, Conditt, and Haliburton have had.

That’s pushing it. Hoiberg and Michalik started 4 years. Meyer started 3 and played in the nba. Beecham was a really good player as an upper classman.

One of the few guys who appears to be taller than his listed height. No way he's only 6'-10".

I do not know how tall Conditt is. I got flack for this before, but Jacobson is much closer to 6’7” then he is 6’9”.

People talk about how young Talen is but George is only 3 months older. According to kenpom Talen is 1.3 years younger than the average frosh, Conditt IV is 1 year younger, and Haliburton is 0.6 years younger. Those are some young guys producing for a good team.
