Corn tortillas are perfect when you are making some little street tacos. Fry em just a bit, and they are perfect. Flour tortillas are great when you are making breakfast burritos, or basically any kind of burrito, as they roll better.

I came here to post the exact same thing. Flour tortillas would suck for street tacos, corn tortillas would suck for burritos.

I'm normally a flour tortilla fan but in Mexico they have fresh corn tortillas in the grocery store and they are amazing. A side bonus is that you can get 20 of them for 10 pesos, which is around 50 cents.
