Well, I can at least say that I'd rather have ISU's season where it went maybe just a little worse than expected than OU's, who blew up, but has been awful the last month and is down 31-12 at Baylor.

Has a team every been ranked as high as they were and not made the NCAA tournament?

Agree, OU looks like crap and they have a full roster, no injuries and a hall of fame coach.

I see a lot of ******** going on in this thread. I really don't know what you guys expect from a team that is 3 starters down, with a very short bench, and has no senior leaders. (Take 3 starters and a couple backups off of any other team in the Big 12 and see how good they are.) Look at your seniors: Junior college guy that didn't start last year, and two grad transfers. One guy is not a P5 player and the other has been hurt all year and probably isn't one either. In addition the guys that are out there are beat up and worn out for too many minutes playing.

Hopefully things will be better next year with numbers, athleticism and experience all improving.

This is absolutely correct. Getting the starters back next year ... PLUS at least 2 proven big-12-caliber, power-5 players with lots of experience ... PLUS one of the best recruiting classes in memory. If you are not positive about seeing improvement next year then you may need meds.

No one expected great. Many have enough respect for the program to expect better than this though.

OU is a perfect example of what happens when the coach doesn't reign in an out-of-control player. What Kruger has allowed to transpire there is a head scratcher...

I expected this record, I didn’t expect to see this poor of play and continual lack of basic fundamentals. There are some reasons to think it’s temporal, but many that provide doubt.

The fact this wasn’t that disappointing is incriminating in itself.

What happens next year when we have more depth and Cam wants to pout and have a bad attitude? Does Prohm sit him ala McKay? Give him a reality check? Either buy in or pull up a seat? Multiple times tonight and this season I feel like this team could have benefited from sitting his uncooperative behind on the bench. I understand some of his frustrations, but come next season, that attitude has got to be a thing of the past. That's the last negative thing I'm going to say tonight.

Embarrasing to go out on senior night like that, Lard, Wiggington, and Jackson alone should be enough to at least compete with a 6-10 team, and Talley is filling in nicely the last couple weeks. Inexcusable.

It's such a case of Jekyll and Hyde with him. I just hope he can kill Hyde once and for all this off season. This is why Cam, to me, is the most important player to watch this off season. Someone that volatile could be dangerous to have around, regardless of how talented he is.

Learn to count, bruh. There are two thoughts before the comma, both of which are dumb as hell and have nothing to do with the improvement part of your statement.
