Ok side note, why was the Iowa dual so late this year and not in December? Very strange for Iowa to be the last dual before Big XII conference tournament.
IIRC, didn't the date need to be moved to schedule the new Big 12 wrestling members?

Do you think sinjin is unaware that he isn’t a scholarship athlete? Or that he had 0% chance at winning today?
I assume you weren’t at the social & seen Dresser talking with Sinjin & his parents. Dresser & staff have a lot of respect for Sinjin & you are trying to turning nothing into somethingSo it's ok for his coach to refer to him as some chump they found at a 7-11? That's a ****** move by Dresser regardless. Scholarship or not the kid has worked and dedicated himself. Deserves better from his coach.
ChickenS%^T move at 197?

Didn't seem like it at the post-match presser. If I was the kid's parent I'd be pissed.
If I was a 197 backup wrestler's parent, I'd be pissed that the meet was never in doubt and my son's coach forfeited rather than give someone else some action.

Holloway weighed in but was injured. I'd be ok with the coach not running my kid out there in that situation.
Why weigh him in then , would he have wrestled had Teague gone out ?Holloway weighed in but was injured. I'd be ok with the coach not running my kid out there in that situation.
Wilcke was definitely center mat warming up before and and at intermission. Weird deal.

You sure about that?
Or...maybe the parent would be happy that a coach didn't send their son out there at half speed because of an injury in a blow out win. Holloway is injured but was there to wrestle to try and keep it at a decision if the dual was close. It wasn't, so he didn't have to go. Tom protecting his guy from further injury.
