From Head Coach to Defensive Coordinator to Secondary Coach. I really hope he starts to have some success.

Good for Rhoads. His coaching-niche is defense, if he's part of a solid overall coaching cast he could rise again to D-coordinator eventually, UCLA or elsewhere.

Coaching is a tough racket. I'm sure he is doing what is best for him and his family. DB coach at UCLA probably still pays pretty well, plus he doesn't have to work for Beleama anymore.
