Your pick of the newcomer that will make the most impact this season.

Secondly, your pick of the biggest surprise player that will turn heads this season.

Lastly, a player that has a decline in production.

Newcomer winner: Lindell Wigginton

Surprise player: Hans Brase

Decline player: Nick Weiler Babb

Denver
Newcomer: Wigginton
Surprise: Zoran
Decline: Nobody

I don’t think anybody will decline because everybody is gaining PT. The returning guy I’m most curious about is Solomon. He’s proven to be a solid player already, but I’m curious to see if he’s going to be a 6 and 5 guy or something more.

How can NWB decline in production?

No one

Wigginton is easy. Feels like no one expects much from Beverly, so easy for him to be a big surprise, and no one had a big role last to decline from (as said above).

If you're myopic enough to only judge a basketball player's worth on stats alone, NWB is probably never going to impress you. If you're willing to allocate worth to getting the loose ball, playing defense, being sound all around, he certainly will. He has the physical skills to have an Ejim-like improvement over his junior and senior years, and even if he never develops into that type of scorer, he can help us win a lot of games.
