Hopefully that is all it is, and if so, good for him!

You would think with a legitimate chance at winning the first Big 12 championship game in years, that he would wait until after this year to retire. Something definitely seems odd about the timing.

Timing makes perfect sense to me because he could not handle the pressure of trying to keep up with the national titles the softball coach is winning at OU. She won her 3rd
in the last 5 years last night!

And add to that the pressure being put on him by Iowa State's own K.J. Kindler who is winning NCAA national championships as coach of Oklahoma's Women's Gymnastics!

I'd think this might open up some recruits who ask for release but I'm sure the car dealers down there are working overtime to make sure they are all "taken care of".
