Lee would be soo huge and would be a starter day 1, just seems like weird situation as we are now recruiting over the recent grad transfers(Bowie and Holden).... I would love the front court depth, still a little hopeful Carter, Lard, Young can take some steps forward to help this year too...

He would not have anything to do with Holden or Bowie

I still think we're a long shot, but it says a lot about this staff. They understand our weaknesses, and are not afraid to go get the talent needed to fix them, and it doesn't matter what form.

The State of Hockey
Marcus Lee would be a huge steal, I think he'll end up at Oregon, but one can wish.
I would live to get Lee too. If anyone wants a huge laugh read the replies to the tweet. There is a huge butt hurt hawkeye fan calling for reform to transfers and how it's a cancer to the sport that Iowa state gets transfers. He even said Iowa state shouldn't be on iowa's schedule for football.

That was fun. Wonder what his handle is on Hawk Nation. Or maybe he was the original "doing it the right way" guy on CF in-state board???.....

We were one of the first to reach out to him. Hope we at least peaked his interest.

Wasn't their best player a transfer?

You'd be an idiot not to reach out to him. The bigger deal would be if he actually returns interest.

Exactly. I love that we were one of the first to reach out to him. There's always a chance. You can't land guys like this without trying.

Having said that, I think I have as good of a shot being our next president as we do of getting Lee, but who knows.

I don't even know you, but I'd vote for you this time.

@JeffRabjohns LOL, ISU, needs every transfer to be relevant.

Aww, that's cute

Perhaps if their coach started going after more transfers, they would be relevant too
