Leistikow had an article in the paper the other day talking about Uthoff training in Vegas and Uthoff basically said that his personality leads him to be a role player (i.e. because of the late game crap). Nothing wrong with being a role player, but I'm not sure that should be an attitude that one strives for.

Speaking of Leistikow, it's embarrassing how in the bag he is for Iowa. It's like what I would write about Iowa State if I was 12 and writing my own blog. I don't know that I've read an article that he's written that isn't an unnecessary love fest about Iowa. Frankly, it is like Iowa has their own PR person writing articles for the Register.

There's something to be said for knowing who you are. Guys who are role players but believe they are/should be the go-to guy are not what you want (Lance Stephenson springs to mind).

Ehh...they don't have a columnist anymore like they once did. I think that Randy P is trying to write like a columnist. Randy's articles are all over the place.

But I do agree that Randy or Tommy aren't the homers that Chad is for Iowa. Randy and Tommy are fair, but it isn't a freaking love fest. I'll have to see if I can find the article by Chad that sent me over the edge. It was about Kirk, I think.

I don't read Leistkow at all, but Randy is absolute Iowa State fluff. He wrote something last week about Mike Warren staying in school, even if he ran for 2000 yards! And he wrote it as if it was a reasonable possibility. It's biased. Biased and awful to read.

It is no different than Randy Peterson for ISU. The Des Moines Register Sports needs to re-think their ISU/Iowa coverage. Especially during the off season, I don't think it's necessary for an ISU and Iowa article every day. The content is so redundant. It has to be difficult to be a newspaper reporter today because most of what is in the paper today was on last night's internet.

Yeah, I thought what Uthoff said was great. Very smart on his part. I don't know why people think he has to be go to player in the NBA. He can just 3 and D.

So day one of the combine was the hand measuring session? Can't wait to see what they do with day two!
Day 2: Evaluate ink
Day 3: Big day, breakdown players pregame pregame tunes and special routine when for introductions
Day 4: discus high end Sportscar and how many unregistered 9mm is appropriate
Day 5: decide what order to draft 10 players from Kentucky.

It's weird they posted all the top people in each category but there are no overall results posted. The hand one is known to be the most important among NBA GM's

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.. Why'd you draft him? Because his hands are huge.

Georges should be running for POTUS '16 instead of the NBA. He'd win huuuuuge on the most important issue!
