you know what they say...
Have the measurements for Uthoff's teeth come in yet?
Maybe he could be a coach sometime down the road at the collegiate level. Does anyone have any ideas who might be willing to give him a chance? It's hard to bet against Niang, but I think he will find his athleticism is a little too limiting to play in the NBA.
I see him making a good contribution in Europe and then being very successful in whatever career he decides on after basketball.
Measurements are starting to roll in.

Unofficial top hand lengths at combine1. Dedric Lawson / Ben Bentil - 9.5"3. Zhou Qi / Pascal Siakam / Georges Niang / Jake Poetl - 9.25"
Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Gotta milk it for all the media coverage it's worth. So, that is all that happened at the combine today? Measuring hands?
Speaking of Leistikow, it's embarrassing how in the bag he is for Iowa. It's like what I would write about Iowa State if I was 12 and writing my own blog. I don't know that I've read an article that he's written that isn't an unnecessary love fest about Iowa. Frankly, it is like Iowa has their own PR person writing articles for the Register.
Leistikow had an article in the paper the other day talking about Uthoff training in Vegas and Uthoff basically said that his personality leads him to be a role player (i.e. because of the late game crap). Nothing wrong with being a role player, but I'm not sure that should be an attitude that one strives for.

Maybe it's that old axiom; "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer".It's weird that you've read multiple stories by a guy who's writing style you can't stand about a team that I certainly hope you can't stand.

It's a deliberate approach by the Des Moines Register. Beat reporting, at least according to the Des Moines Register (or Gannett) is dead. It's now churning out daily content that is effectively branded advertising. The sad part is I think our assigned writer, Randy, is oblivious to the entire situation. I pick and choose what I read from the DMR and no longer receive the print version. Do they have a designated troll anymore? It was Sean Keeler and Nancy Clark at one point. Who gets the hate mail these days?
They'll let you know as soon as he finishes.
