Windows 10 or Ubuntu is the answer to your problem. Either one will maintain your computer for you unless you choose not to let them. CF did not install anything on your computer.

Yeah he's correct. That isn't us man. We scan this site thousands of times a day for viruses. I realize we have a slow ad problem (and it's being worked on, trust me) but the virus thing isn't us.

Curious as to why you think you got a virus from a website? I run no virus protection on any of my computers (because there is no reason to), and I have never gotten anything.

What gives with CF linking to and installing that kind of thing? Having to post this from my phone as my computer scans. And yes, CF was the only site I had open at the time. Not the best look here.
Why don't you actually read the link you posted before you blame it on CF?

[h=2]How did DNS Unlocker got on my computer?[/h]DNS Unlocker is an adware program that is commonly bundled with other free programs that you download off of the Internet.
Unfortunately, some free downloads do not adequately disclose that other software will also be installed and you may find that you have installed DNS Unlocker without your knowledge. Most commonly DNS Unlocker is bundled within the installers from Cnet, Softonic or other similar custom third-party installers.

You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this DNS Unlocker adware. Be very careful what you agree to install.
Always opt for the custom installation and deselect anything that is not familiar, especially optional software that you never wanted to download and install in the first place.

It goes without saying that you should not install software that you don’t trust.

Your computer has a fever...and the only prescription...is more CF.

By the time I'm done we're all gonna be wearing gold plated diapers.

More than likely ads from 3rd party domains causing issue. Run firefox or chrome and add the ublock origin add on. Won't have any issues. I also don't run antivirus, it's a waste of money.
