I hope Jameel figures it out. Part of me thinks that there's something going on besides basketball with him.
And Fred sure left us with a mess. He was really good with dealing with the players and making all of them work, but then he ups and leaves a team that has been coddled expecting the next coach to be able to deal with it. That's a disaster waiting to happen and he should have known it. But maybe he isn't as good of a coach as I thought. His Bulls gave up an 18 point lead and 42 points in the 4th quarter tonight.
Could Prohm have done some things differently? Of course. But I'll be damned if I can figure out what would have been worked better.

The margin for error is becoming smaller and smaller all the time. Finishing 8-10 in conference is possible. Am I predicting it to happen right now? No. Could it happen? Yes. An 8-10 conference finish probably means 9 seed or so.

I know the initial reaction will be to downplay losing him and that initial reaction would be silly.
This team just makes me sad. We should be better than this. I trust CSP, but I just think this team has been hurting themselves more the teams they are playing. I feel bad for Niang and Morris. We should be doing better.
Dude we have two really talented freshman BIG's who aren't party to letting the Inmates Run the Asylum...is Cyclone Erik past his can't believe insiders didn't inform him first stage?
I ask because I just want to make sure authority is back in the house...those Wayne Morgan years were absolutely intolerable. I'd rather have the losing authority Gregg gave us to appease the wife beater authoritarian portion of the fan base

It's really sad to see this season unraveling. Prohm took the job at ISU because it's a great program with tons of potential and it's a great job. Well... I hope he isn't regretting that decision now watching one of the senior leaders of the team turn this whole thing into a train wreck. This is the kind of crap that can haunt a program for years to come. I respect the hell out of Prohm as clearly he has been fighting this garbage since he arrived in Ames.
McKay can tweet one game all he wants, but until he pulls his head out of his posterior he might be surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the message and comes back a better team player. I will say that I'd be surprised if he doesn't. He will realize that the best chance he has for his future is being part of this team and doing all that he can to help. If he does that, the rest will take care of itself.
My guess is 1 game suspension, sits out the 2nd on the bench, and comes off the bench from the 3rd on, until he regains the trust of the team/staff and gets a starting position back.
