As regrettable as McKay's performance has been the some of the fans on here have been far worse. Wish we could put names and faces to some of you to determine who are teenagers and who are insufferable buttholes. Sigh, hope the team fights through the adversity and comes out stronger; Talent is there.

I don't know about you but anyone who is 6'9" and has a 7'2" wingspan is pretty ******* terrifying to me. Maybe you're one bad dude but I'm not about to tangle with a guy who is 6'9".
There are a lot of people out there that put athletes on a pedestal. A lot of people don't stop idolizing athletes when they become adults.
Just look at when Jameel said (on social media for everyone to see) that he was 'sick and tired of literally everything to do with Ames, IA'...there were all sorts of jocksniffers on here ripping into anyone that was annoyed by that comment.

While not 100% of the problem, it has been brought up countless times the last few seasons that social media comments and "vitriol" directed at players is becoming a major issue. I personally had a lot of bad thoughts in my head at the end of the WVU game, but my first instinct was not to @ every player. Blow off steam another way Cyclones

I was just implying that a guy like Burton is more intimidating of a figure, at least to me.
