Anybody else take it over the past couple days? I just finished it. I have no idea how well I did - they get manually scored for partial and/or misspelled answers. I'm guessing somewhere between 25 - 30 out of the 50 questions. There were probably 10 that I left blank because I just had no idea. It was fun, but don't look for me to be on the show anytime soon...

I've taken the college one the past few years and was put in the lottery but wasn't chosen to audition. Took the Teen/High School one my Junior Year of High School and auditioned but wasn't chosen. Took the adult test this week. I didn't feel confident in about half the answers, much like you. We shall see.

had a relative do this and make it on Jeopardy. Unfortunately she lost but it was cool to see her on TV.

I took it last January...yeah...many of my questions were waaaaaay outside my wheelhouse.

Yeah... I'd gotten a little arrogant the past couple days because the categories they'd had on the show were right in my wheelhouse so I'd been getting over half of them right. I'm terrible with literature and presidents, and there were multiple questions from both topics in the test.

Same here - I can kill it on vocabulary categories but not on lit (not a big fan of the classics). Fairly good on geography & science, but some of the more obscure categories are beyond my education and/or taste.

I had a co-worker make it to the show. She only answered 4 questions correctly (2-$2000, 1-$1000 and the final jeopardy for $4500) missed none so her final total was respectable, still finished in third and won a lifetime of clorox or something dumb like that.

I have taken the online test twice. The key, I think, is to take it with at least one friend who knows some different stuff as you. That way you have a better shot at getting to the "magic number" of correct answers (which no one really knows what that is, exactly). I made it to the in-person round in Kansas City both times, but didn't get selected from the pool after that point. I think my scores on that written test were too low. I know nothing about literature and they always seem to stack the questions heavily in that reguard. At least that's how it felt to me! But I still got to "play" the game with two other interview-ees with the clicker button, which was fun. It's as far as I'll probably ever get, personally, but it was still fun.

If I ever get another email announcing the sign-up for the next online test, I'll try to remember to post it here.

This new core math thing is hard for me...

Jeopardy! would be whole new ball game.

What was the answer to your question of what you would do with the money (They asked me if I won $25k)? I heard that is one of the most important things now. They will cut you even if they think you'll be fun and interesting on the show if you have a boring answer to that question.

I'm pretty sure they asked me the same thing. I don't remember what I said, though. Too long ago already and the whole thing kind of blurs together now. It was still fun to go do something like that, even if I didn't get invited to Los Angeles.

I took a year or two ago. I missed less than 10 questions. I read about the selection process and it seems that so many people pass the test that there is a magic cutoff line and that the people that actually get invited for in person tests are kind of randomly selected from the pool that passed.

There is an Iowa State grad who used to travel with the regional Jeopardy testing as one of his gigs. I haven't talked to him in a couple of years so I don't know if he is still doing it.
