It'll be a minor miracle to hold onto this guy with all these other offers coming in. I hope he sees the potential to be coached by the best OL coach in the country for his final year to boost his pro potential

Bit of a stretch? lol.

Tom Manning IS the best OL coach in the country. His resume speaks for itself.

He is what, 33? There is no way his resume at this point indicates he's the best OL coach in the country. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have him.

The 2015 O-line coach of the year award on his resume points directly at him being the current best O-line coach in the country

LOL because Football Scoop says so? How many people have even heard of Football Scoop until they gave an award to one of our coaches? Who do they have as coach of the year? It probably wasn't Saban. Does that mean the winner of their head coach award is the best head coach in the country?

You're trying too hard. Look at the other candidates for this thing. It's a nice award.

There's no doubt he's a real good OL coach, but he's not exactly experienced enough to be the best. I'm also going out on a limb and saying he isn't winning it again this year, like he would if he were THE BEST.

Hope he does win it again though.

Have followed FS for the past 3 years or so. They are a super informed staff with lots of sources and insight from the pros all the way down to DIII college ball, a very connected bunch. I wouldn't take everything they say as hard truth but if they think a coach is a top 5 coordinator, it would be incredibly foolish to ignore it.

A good friend of mine just told me that Catalina is leaning towards Florida now for what it's worth.

Makes me wonder if the timing of the snowstorm will be a factor at all in someone's decision.

No reason for Catalina to change his commitment. ISU just hired one of the best/if not the best oline coaches in America.
