Both are very good. I think the Cubs' youth might not be ready for the stage yet and (most of) the Cardinals have experience at this level already. But I also think that if it's the Cubs, we can put down an L for Game 3 of the NLDS in Sharpie thanks to Arrieta.

Right now I'm holding out hope for a 40-inning wild card game between Chicago and Pittsburgh.

The Iowa Heart Center loves your idea, as do cardiac specialists everywhere.

Cards-Pirates rained out tonight. Doubleheader tomorrow to make it up. If St. Louis takes either game tomorrow they clinch the Central.

Why a double header tomorrow when both teams have an off day on Thursday?

Cardinals probably want their off day to go to Atlanta instead of a short turnaround. Same with Pittsburgh too I imagine. Don't want to lose that built-in advantage over their next opponents.

The rain-out could benefit Pittsburgh. It was supposed to be Wacha against Charlie Morton tonight and then Tyler Lyons against Gerrit Cole tomorrow. With those matchups I felt good about our chances tonight. The Pirates have decided to flip their guys tomorrow for the doubleheader though so it will be Wacha vs. Cole early and Lyons vs. Morton late. More even matchups there which gives Pittsburgh a better shot at two wins (and they need them both to keep their Central hopes alive)

How bout the cards flip their starters? Just need to win 1.

Never a doubt. We are the best team in division, NL, and MLB. We will continue to show that we are in October with our depth and postseason experience. The greatest organization in baseball.

So who do you guys want to see in the NLDS? Chicago or Pittsburgh? I'm on the fence.
