Feedback: Are ads supposed to be "Google friendly" as well?

I know I heard we need to exercise a little more restraint because Google has a pretty low bar for family friendly. I'm pretty sure the Filipino Dating ad that I just got under the Morris/Pan Am Games press release probably wouldn't meet their standard.
