That's actually incredible. Sad to be lost within the MBB downer today, but that is a 37 point swing from the loss to Baylor earlier in the year. Nice job Cyclones!
I thought about going but wanted to watch MBB being a season ticket holder, now I wish I was there for the Seniors as they have fought hard this year with Buckly out, lost some tough games along the way but also some great wins (sweep TX) and this.

This team is absolutely schizophrenic. How can they beat a good team like Baylor and then flounder against the cellar dwellers of the Big 12? Great win, but not sure it will be enough to even get an NCAA bid.
I was at the game the handshake was fairly uneventful. This win secures them a berth in the big dance. Hopefully a win at KU and some good tourney play can get us a better seed. i really think we are anywhere from a 7-10 right now which means if we win first game we are playing a 1 or 2 seed on their home floor.
Maybe it knocks them from 2-3 seed. Chances are they probably win their final game and win the big 12 tourney making this loss irrelevant.
Very strange. I noticed it too. I asked the people next to me why they weren't fouling like 10 times in those seconds. I looked at the scoreboard to make sure we were actually ahead. Weird. Trying to find a video of the end of the game as I've talked to several people about it and they don't believe it. Maybe cyclones.tv has it.
Mulkey had to have obviously told them not to. It's not like they didn't have opportunities to do so. Maybe just Kim being nice to our seniors... ha!
Very proud of the team and especially the seniors. The showed their mettle in this one. I hope it carries on and I see the same next weekend!

On not fouling at the end of the game -
There was still 1:19 to go, but Ellis ended Baylor’s next possession with a steal, and a Moody layup made it a two-score game. After Imani Wright missed a 3-pointer with 29 seconds remaining, Seanna Johnson, who finished with eight points, nine rebounds and five assists, rebounded and Baylor elected not to foul.
“That was just youth, and they did that on their own,” Mulkey said. “It wasn’t anything where we gave up or anything. But I’m not sure they missed many free throws, either.”
Imo this baylor win seals a bid. We are looking at worst a 9-9 league record in the top RPI conf. in the country with a win over the league champion.

Amazing game for the team and seniors!! Fallon started it off with a beautiful rendition of the anthem and was the difference maker in the game. Everyone played incredibly hard and kept fighting.
It was also a terrific crowd, and the team gave the crowd enough to be a factor in the game.

I agree we are differently in. The win could be a NCAA game changer IMHO. If we ended up 9-9 without this win it would be bubble time. 9-9 with this win gets us in, just maybe not with a very good seed but in.
10-8 and win(s) in Dallas would help with seeding. Not sure how we measure up to back-to-back games against conference rivals as we are not built for that.
