This team panics way too easy. As soon as trouble hits they curl up in the fetal position. Other teams gotta love playing us. Just keep within 15 and we'll let you comeback for a spectacular win. This team is gonna flame out quick. I can image four consecutive losses and a long off season searching for leadership.

A win against OU would go a long ways into getting back on the right track. Not responding to adversity 2 games in a row hopefully serves as a gut check and not a symptom of what's to come next month

I don't think this team is soft at all. They just play at such a quick pace I think they've gotten going too fast and lost focus. Fred needs to slow things down and make sure they make proper passes. While the title is gone now, it may end up that this can be corrected before the conference tournament starts.

Possibly but I don't see ISU getting a favorable see or match up. We wont' get an "easy" team in the tournament. KSU is not that good of a team and we just handed this one to em cause we couldn't finish. That is a major point of concern.

I still think they'll win a game or two in the tourney. It is the toughest conference in America so 1st round game at least should be a step down in competition level.

Kansas St sucks, they just play inspired, which is what a first round opponent will do. Plus I'm guessing a first round opponent will be just as good, or better, than South Carolina or Tech.

I actually agree with this, but the question then becomes who? Normally in an ideal situation you would have a 3 do it so they would have a 1 or 2 to inbound to, but the way Hogue has been passing the ball lately...

Didn't happen last season either and ISU performed quite well. Lots of folks had similar things to say last season as compared to this year.

I'm gonna wait to see how this plays out before overreacting like some here - announcing to everyone that the team is done, as if it is some sort of fact.

Guys today sucks, but we're 100% guaranteed a tournament birth if I'm not mistaken. That is essentially a whole new season, start from scratch round one. Keep your heads up, and hope they play well starting that game. Don't give in to the negativity, moments like this is when you need to be a true fan for yourselves and the team.
