That was a BS flagrant foul by Jones...I hope that's not the guy he really is because I don't care how good he is, we don't need that ****.

Its not like he killed the guy. It was a frustration foul. Kane did that same thing a couple times last year.

Thanks for your opinion. Next time just save us all time and email JP or better yet, Fred himself.

Big deal, he had a good night and the game was over by then, easy problem to correct going forward, kick your dog and go to bed.

Very, very physical game. And when refs let it escalate, these types of fouls occur.

We got away with a few calls, they got away with a few. Lots of hacking tonight.

Did he punch the guy or something? I thought he just put his shoulder into the guy. Stupid frustration foul, nothing more.

Get out of here goosemer

you're welcome and nah, I'll stick around. I think it was classless and his demeanor during a lot of the game was crappy imo. He may be a great player...I just think we're better than that kind of stuff. It wasn't the worst foul but it could have been done better. At least make a play on the ball.

Agreed a lot more calls should have been called both ways. That 7 footer for Maryland needs to learn to stay vertical, but luckily for Maryland, they weren't calling those fouls.

I don't think it was that bad, but I do think it's indicative of how BDJ worries about himself more than the team. He's a bit of a rebel, much like Royce and Kane before him, but with less WOW to offset it. I've said it before; he will keep us in some games and he will likely lose us some games, we just have to hope Fred can tame him like he did the others.

Dumb move but it wasn't that bad. Really needs to learn to channel that emotion into refusing to lose, but him and Edozie were the only guys who could make anything.

I was more concerned with his effort right before that, when he was pouting about a missed 3 on the other end while all 9 of the other guys on the floor were going after the rebound.

Everybody's body language sucked. Hogue was 10x worse. I won't read anything into it yet. Let's see what happens the next few weeks.

I was pretty surprised to see a few ISU players lose their composure. Hogue had two pretty bad fouls at the end as well.

Meh. It was a frustration foul. It's not like he leveled the guy? It was stupid flagrant foul but let's not get carried away.

The foul wasn't dirty and I certainly don't think he was trying to hurt anybody. Just a frustration foul.

However, I can't say I'm not at least a little concerned with where Bryce's head is at times. What I'm seeing is that the majority of the time he plays good, smart basketball in the role Hoiberg wants him in. But when things get tight in close games, I see him reverting back a bit.

In the long run, not worried at all. Just a frustrating night. We will come back better.
