Great to see Georges getting more well deserved national recognition.

The Big Lead is from USA Today Sports so I'd would say it is a pretty good source. I'd change the thread title if I knew how...

Perry Ellis meet Nelson Muntz.

Nice, and well deserved, recognition for Georges.

Can't wait until BDJ proves that he should have been in the top 50 ala Kane this year.

The Big Lead is going way down hill lately, basically turning into a click bait site now. But good to see Niang is on there, I think we'll have one or two more guys on a top 50 list by the end of the year though.

RV # 44 without having played a single minute of D-1 ball.

Edit. There's a ton of incoming Freshman on the list. Should have read this criteria first I guess. Still, I'm leaving the .gif just because.

Holy Wisconsin Batman!!!! 3 players in the top 50 with 2 head of Georges. Hmm, something about that makes me skeptical.

I honestly don't know how you rank some of those freshman so high. Over established players.

One of our beloved players is ranked the #10th best player in college basketball and the first post in reply is mocking the lack of Iowa players? People wonder why Iowa fans make fun of our little-brother status...

I totally see where you are coming from as that is my initial reaction as well. However, if you go back the past few years and make an equivalent postseason award list like this, I think we'd all be amazed at how many one-and-done freshman are on there each and every year. It is just kind of the world we live in now.

not that big of a deal, man. They're our rival. That's the nature of rivalries.

I think you are taking this comment too seriously. I'd also say I hardly make comments like these all the time, but with living in CR, I let them pop every once in a while. Frankly, I think I deserve that right by having to listen to them all day every day. I'd afford the same luxury to the Cyclone fans chipping here and there at the Huskers who live on the far western end of the state.

They have the best depth in the nation so as to hide the talent.....but they are doing it the right way.

Agreed. There were some real head-scratchers on this list.

Looking back at their previous years' lists, I'm not going to put much stock into this (though it's awesome that Niang is getting so much recognition).

Awesome press for Georges but recent history suggests 1 or 2 of our newly eligible transfers will belong on the list, especially BDJ. Also wouldn't be surprised if monte is getting the accolades since he didn't even start the first half of last season and will have the ball in his handsa ton more. His season averages are going to leap.

I'm not even talking about the top 5 recruit types, more players like Abdul Malik Abu or w/e.
