Yeah, I'm not saying he was preachy, just don't see what it adds to the conversation. That'd be like me answering the question of who I'm cheering for in a world cup thread with "nobody, cause I don't watch soccer"

I just don't see the point, that's all.

Your question is "Who I'm cheering for in the world cup?"
To answer your question honestly, I'm not cheering for anyone in the world cup. Cause I don't watch soccer.

It's just conversation in the off season, nothing more.

Ouzo - *shudder*

I brought a bottle of it to a party once and it generated the same face from every one that tried it:

Had a roommate in college that was Greek and he would like to "pregame" with it..... its an acquired taste to say the least.....

The question of the thread was "What's in your liquor cabinet?" So I quite honestly replied, nothing.

Edit: I hadn't read 00Clone's post before I posted this reply. He's got it right.

I think it's odd that a non-drinker even has a liquor cabinet. :jimlad:

Does my wine cellar count as a liquor cabinet? We don't even remember to drink the wine so it's getting very well aged!

Question for you seasoned guys. I got a taste of glenlivet 12 and loved it. I'm looking for some single malt scotch that isn't super expensive. Recommendations?

So...the teetotaller isn't looking down his nose at us booze hounds, but the dope smoker is...my how the world has changed.

Oh I'm not trying to look down on anyone. The old body just can't handle to booze like it used to. Trust me, I wish it could. I really do.

Yep, age has a way with catching up with us old hell-raisers. And nope that isn't me in the picture, just another old ISU fan.

He speaks the truth

Sailor Jerry was awesome until 2010. But then they made some changes to their formula (decreased the amount of lime and vanilla) and while it is still decent it is nowhere near as good as it was prior to the change.

Do what this guy did (and I did too) and switch to bourbon.

It took some experimentation. But I found that Brinley's Gold Vanilla rum is a great substitute for the old Sailor Jerry.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to provide this service for us! Must have been excruciating ;)
