No, it is a link to my post in this thread. Was hoping you'd read it as it helps explain why thinking about "what ifs" isn't always a bad thing.Did you just link a thread to itself? Now people will spend all night in a never-ending loop.

I would hope you would support who we are. Not, who we are not. These individuals have made a choice to work, a choice to sacrifice, to put themselves on the line night after night for months, to represent you. That kind of commitment and effort deserves and demands your respect. This is your team.I don't think there is any doubt.
I'm not going to change my opinion. You are wasting your time.
Probably the same thread where if KU fans weren't such DB's they would be invited to more parties. This thread is a joke. Where was the thread where we lose to Kansas without Embiid? Yeah, I thought so.
Yep, when we lost Niang I was so mad it felt like the season was over. The loss vs Uconn, I just smiled and turned the TV off. Next year we'll have Niang and some actual post defenders inside. Can't wait! This article seems well fit for this thread. Apologies if it was already linked

Thats fine.
ISU wins the Liberty Bowl in 2012 if Jake Knott plays. It was definitely Jake Knott's absence. Nothing else.
You seem to be acting as if having better players (in this case probably THE most important player) has no impact on the game. Sure there were other things that we could have done to deal with the horrible hand we had been dealt yet again. Those other things you brought up are normal every game issues that can arise. However, you don't expect to suddenly lose your most crucial player at the most crucial time of the season. The fact was we had a good chance to get to the final 4. When Georges got hurt we still had a chance, but incredibly greatly diminished chance.

Negative. I know having Niang in there completely changes this game, but what if Niang does play, plays like Ejim did, and goes 4 for 14 and only scores 12 points (2 three, 2 twos, 2 FT) while taking away attempts from Hogue and Hogue only goes 8 for 10 and scores 20 points? So instead of Hogue having 34 on 19 attempts, Hogue has 20 on 10 attempts and Niang has 12 on 14 attempts. Thats 2 less points with 5 more attempts.
My point is, you cant sit here and say that if Niang plays, ISU wins. Everything changes. UConn played so good tonight, and I'm not sure Niang would of made that any different.
I think some people are forgetting that nearly EVERY game we played WITH Niang was a dog fight and came down to the end, even against Texas Friken Tech.... So what makes you think having him would make us suddenly a team destined to blow everyone out on the way to a national championship? These untimely injuries can have the effect of brainwashing ourselves to believe our season and our chances were better than is actually the case
64 teams enter the tournament(not 68)
If you can't get the simplest of facts correct, the rest of the post isn't worth reading (or even quoting.)
