Oh god. NC Central plays in the same conference as Hampton. We lose. We lose. Oh god we lose. :spinny:
I think we got about best draw we could hope for. No elite defensive teams, no teams with great length. We know we can score with anyone.

Road to the Final Four:
1. End the NCCU feelgood story after a tough game
2. Crush Carolina.
3. Win a wild one with Villanova.
4. Either give Virginia the game they bought out, or go create some Sparty tears.

If we make it to the Elite Eight, I think it will be against the 4 seed, Michigan State.
Look at total resume my ars. We beat Michigan had the same record and had a better resume and they get a 2 seed above us
Just from a quick glance at NC Central, not a great 3 point shooting team (about 34%) so I like that, as well as they don't have anyone above 6'8" that gets serious minutes. Don't want to take them lightly though, looks like they have one really good scorer in Ingram. Also, looks like they haven't had any truly bad games. Loses to Cincy by 13, Witchita St by 11, Maryland by 14, and beat NC State by 10 in OT. We're really going to need to show up for this one.
If we get past them and face UNC second round, that would be an interesting matchup. I think Monte could play pretty solid against Paige. They are another team that isn't a great shooting team, especially free-throws. They are long though, that could give us issues, but I think it wouldn't be a bad matchup at all.
And if we can get out of the first weekend, I think a potential matchup with Villanova would be a crazy fun game. They play fast, small and shoot a lot of threes just like us. That would be a fun game if that's the way it plays out.
Really excited to see how it all unfolds!! There are no easy games in the NCAA tourney. GO CYCLONES!

Agreed... disappointed we didn't get a #2... more worried about this team than any other in our bracket but UNC can play when they are clicking.
It's the NCAA Tournament, There are NO gimme games. Gimme games are for the CBI and NIT
They also won at NC State. They won't be a pushover, but we absolutely should expect to beat them with ease. That's part of being a 3 seed.
