Hope he keeps playing mean and carrying the chip, but the passion has to be redirected.
Chest bump Kane after a big 3, rag to Niang after a bad call. Heck, blowing kisses to the idiot hecklers will mess with them more than a flying finger.
Its tough to see him looking so miserable sitting on the bench in critical games. The touchy ref calls aren't gonna change, he has to.

Give me a break.

And I'm sure you would be on cyclone fanatic ripping that Hawk player too..

Here is the criteria: An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award honors the attributes of NCAA Division I senior student-athletes in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition. The award program is designed exclusively for college seniors who are utilizing their complete athletic eligibility, remaining committed to their university and pursuing the many rewards a senior season can bring. The award is managed by Premier Sports Management. Award winners are determined by a selection process that includes NCAA Division I college coaches in each respective sport, national media and fans. Public fan voting on the Senior CLASS Award website takes place each year during the month leading up to the NCAA Championship.

Now, Rhoadhoused...let's give him a break, blackhawk has never liked trash, or trash talking:

"Give me that" would have been proper English, no wonder he was T'd.

Probably because Ejim has beaten the Hawks 3 out of 4 times in his career. Granted, Kane is batting 1.000 against you guys, but he's only beaten you once.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with it. It's b/c I prefer the way Kane handles himself on the court. Not to mention Kane is the cog that makes the offense work. Ejim gets lots of garbage buckets and put backs. He's also a pretty decent shooter, but does the majority of his damage down low. I like Kane's game much more. Big, strong athletic guard who can basically impose his will on defenders whenever he wants. Kane sets people up. W/o Kane ISU would be MUCH, much easier to stop. I remember reading pre-season reports from Fred that basically said Kane is a stud and going to make a huge impact. Pretty accurate.

Without Ejim we only have one rebounder. Ejim and Kane are both necessary for this team to be successful.

Knowing what you know now, and you could only have one, who do you take? Morris has played pretty well. Hogue has been a tremendous rebounder for you, plus doesn't Niang rebound OK?

Last I checked, those were still worth 2 points. Like 'em or not, 48 points is still 48 points, whether you think they're pretty or not. Honestly, I think that's why a lot of actually smart people (Fred, for instance) like Ejim...and even Niang. Might not be pretty, but rock solid, and productive. I'm not bagging on Kane, but your dismissal of Ejim is dumb...and now I'm wondering why I'm even saying it, since that's par for your course.

We love both of them. Both are probably equally important to our great success in a 'rebuilding year'. I am guessing that you guys would sell your soul to get either one on your team.

Now that Kane has gotten his T habit under control, Ejim stepped up to earn all those Ts that some people were expecting us to get.

I don't how accurate this is but Mel's up there with the T's this year. If that emotion is what Mel needs to get himself fired up, then so be it. Keep calling the bogus Ts and he'll keep putting up dazzling numbers.

Not accurate as far as I know. I don't remember where I read it but someone said he has 6 career T's. 4 of them this year.

Hanging on the rim
"punch" on loose ball
West Virginia game
Trash talking

I think we can all pretty much agree that three of the four this year have been crap calls. Just assuming the others are deserved 50% of his T's have been bad calls by the officials. I don't see how you can say he has a problem with those stats.

On a side note even though the stats are wrong on that page if the #1 guys are accurate what is he doing. How do you get 27 T's in 29 games?

Flagrant 1's are not technical fouls. The "punch" on the loose ball scramble was a flagrant 1.
