Per Jeff Goodman anyway. Wish him the best. Now we can stop speculating on who is transferring.

If it's true, then good luck to him.

This certainly would answer some scholarship questions. I'm sure it was a very hard year for him to be away from home with his brother's death. Good luck to him wherever he ends up, assuming this report is true. He seems like a great kid and was well liked by his teammates.

Wouldn't blame him, especially if it's the infamous "closer to home" reason considering what his family has gone thru this year and it turns out that way.

Wouldn't suprise me, it sounds like his family has been through hell in the last year. Hate to lose him but I can't fault him if he wants to be closer to his family

If he is leaving, I would hope that he can get a waiver to play right away. Losing your father and brother in the short time he did is beyond awful. He shouldn't be punished by having to sit out a year.

I agree. I can't imagine going through all that he has been through, and wish him nothing but the best wherever he lands.

I think Fred made the right choice here, Okoro was really the only viable option.

This is big time college basketball, this is what you have to do to compete. No different from what Crean does, or what Calapri did forcing out Ryan Harrow. Fred realizes what needs to be done to compete in a major conference, it's very nice to see that.
