Olukemi is gone. I believe. Was a 6 year senior and got hurt so his career is done.

I read in a couple articles that Travis Ford was going to talk to Olukemi about submitting a waiver to get a 6th year of eligibility.

In the spring semester in high school his senior year in 2008 he took college credit classes which started his 5 years to complete 4 clock. His 5 year clock was over after the fall semester of 2012. The first waiver he submitted last season was to get the extra semester to play spring of 2013. Spring of 2013 would have been his 11th semester in college. He got granted that waiver because they said he didn't know that his clock had started in high school. Since they granted him that 11th semester I would imagine that since he only played in 2 games in the 2012-13 season(aka his 10th semester), that he will get his 10th and 11th semesters granted again. A very confusing situation but I think that he will get a waiver to play another year next season.

You could pick against Kansas because they lose their starting 5, but you'd be wrong. They reload with talent.

Who do you guys think are pre season all big 12s? Ejim and Markel Brown look look the top returning players to me

Angel Rodriquez will be first team to start the year.

And if anyone doesn't have KU 1st in the pre season, they should lose their voting privileges.

I know a lot of fans covet the rankings and the stars, but got to love a NR like Mel. A kid with brains that can play basketball, and also appreciates playing for the good guys. Hope we can land several more like him down the road.

Yeah pretty much all of Kansas States players are NR and they were a top 15 team this year. Impressive.

That Staten from WVU is a pretty good player too. Probably not pre-season all B12. But he might make the next 5 out.

Kansas loses 5 starters but they also add 4 top 50 recruits. They are loaded as always.

Oh I know. Like I said, Kansas is Kansas. Self is Self. But replacing a an entire starting lineup will be tough. Look at Kentucky this year. But Cal is nowhere near the level of coach Self is. I'd still say they are the favorite to win the league. But they probably won't be the defensive juggernaut they were this year.

I wish that Fred had a guy on our staff that had connections to Texas. There's a lot of athletes down there and we get far more exposure in B12 country than anywhere else.

Next time we lose an assistant, I hope Fred can find someone to recruit that area.

Why would Frazier commit not knowing who the head coach is. That's what I'm wondering.

Has anyone heard of any players transferring from the Big 12 or to the Big 12?
