Attendance of 39,500. Too much money has been spent not to go to watch a win. The weather will be better than expected. Everyone wants to see how big the Mangino is in person.

When is everyone going to start tailgating & what are predictions for attendance?

Go Cyclones!!

unfortunately, i think attendance will be low. i have talked to a lot of people that say they are done with the team. i have the opinion that i'm a season ticket holder and those guys that suit up every week deserve to have fans come support them. so...i hope to be there around 9 a.m....probably will be in the lots between hilton and the stadium. i'm thinking coffee and bailey's sounds delicious! :yes4lo:

I'll be there, and I am guessing 42,000 with join me. I have spent the money and regardless of how good the team is, football is football and beer is beer and I will be there for both and will get my money's worth.

We'll be there for the game of course. Can't tailgate this weekend though.

Hot coco and peppermint schnapps will make it's way into the game for us! :)

that is also a tasty treat. for some reason, that has been a missouri game tradition for me...dating back to my first trip to mizzou in college.

AH HA! You are the culprit for the losses to Missouri. See...we've begun a tradition to losing to them when we need a win. You have a tradition of coco and schnapps for that game.

Oh...the chickens have come to roost amyk33!

Nathan's Hotdogs also? Or Oscar Mayer? What brand of dogs do people favor at tailgating?

for your information...the tradition started at the game we won AT missouri...when adam runk deflectd that pass in the end zone. so...i am not the reason we have lost to missouri!!!

if you want, i could switch to hot apple cider and capt morgan or something for the next one...

All I need to keep me warm during cool mornings is a case of either Natural or Busch Light and a coozie. Food is the only thing that should be warm at a tailgate, not drinks.

Does anyone else besides me have a hard time tailgating for morning/early afternoon games and eating brats, hot dogs, and burgers so early in the morning? I'm one who has never been able to eat pizza in the morning, so I'm probably way in the minority.

Same thing w/drinking before early games - I feel like I have to have a screwdriver or something because it has orange juice. That's a morning drink!

Last year for the Iowa-ISU game in Ames, we started at 7:30 that morning. Cooked pancakes, bacon and eggs on the grill. Around noon we fired it back up and had burgers and brats.

Oh, what a great day that was. And then...a great football game on top of it! :)
