A bit of shameless self promotion here but I think this is some pretty cool and interesting stuff. I recently made some changes to my site so that I could add the capability of posting sortable tables for users to comb through and research all sorts of data that they may be looking for.

I will continue to add more historical stats for both football and basketball as well as the in season stats that I produce for Big 12 basketball. Anyway, below I linked the page of football stats that covers your run of the mill stats as well as some advanced stats that I'm not sure you can find anywhere else.

Frankly, it is a little overwhelming. I like being able to click on a column and have it put the teams in order for that area.

Three takeaways:

U Mass absolutely sucks.

Army and Navy score more than we do.

Iowa and ISU defenses had similar stats.

Except one played against bland Big 10 offenses and one played against potent Big 12 offenses.

Cool stuff. Here is a interesting stat about Tulsa.
They ran more plays per game (82.85) than Oregon (82.4) or Baylor (82.67).
For comparison ISU ran 72 plays per game and Auburn ran 58.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I hope it can become a resource for anyone looking up numbers that aren't too readily available. I'll gradually add more and more stats, especially historical Iowa State stuff.

Any other comments are appreciated.
