If the NIU to Orange Bowl rumors are true...they need to strip the voting privileges of whomever the hell decides this crap. NIU is not a top 25 team with a loss to Iowa. Show me some quality wins. The only win they have over a real FBS school is Kansas and they are one of the worst in the nation. What a joke.

Hearing there is a team meeting at 6.

That's just to assign each player a bowl game to tweet.

"Okay men, here's the deal. We still have no idea, so we're going to have a little fun. First 2 rows, you guys tweet that we're going to Dallas. This section over here, you have Shreveport. That corner, Memphis. You 7 guys, Detroit."

Could it be we have a choice between Shreveport and Liberty and Rhoads gives the Seniors a vote? Not likely I know, but seems strange that HOD is holding out as are Liberty and Shreveport.

I dont think they are holding out, I think they are waiting for HOD.

I don't see Iowa State vs Purdue drawing 44,000.

Was thinking 44,000 was not overly impressive and shouldn't sway pick. There is this thinking that the Texas Bowls will pick Texas teams since they will travel well in state. I don't agree. We can bring just as many or more people and also stay in the city/spend money.

Think we had around 40,000 when we played K State in Arrowhead. So comparable.

Anyways sounds like all the picks have been made now so sort of a mute point now I guess.

There's at least real football opponents on LA Tech's schedule. Neither is BCS worthy. I still can't believe this is going to happen. So stupid.

Might be, but I think there was a team meeting yesterday or Friday in which they probably went over the scenarios and voted for what they preferred.

I know when I played we voted for what we preferred and if there was a choice then they went with what we voted on.
