As I was getting the ever healthy double cheeseburgers at MCDs, I realized how I hate doing drive thru and always find a faster time running in and ordering to go. The downside is getting out of the warm car. I also hate the drive thru when you have two or three different orders and you have to figure out how to pay for it! Anyways....vote on which one you prefer. We gotta do something to get us to 5 o'clock!

I was very upset when I saw that some McD's removed the two chesseburger combo meal. I wouldn't have survived college but for that combo meal!

I'd say 90% of the time I go to the counter, except when I go to Sonic. Is there much of a choice besides drive-thru at Sonic? :sink:

See, I worked at a Dairy Queen in Ames for 4 years across high school and ISU. I have had many, many, many bad experiences in drive thrus from the employee's perspective. Needless to say I really want nothing to do with drive thru or fast food ever, ever again.

What I hate is when you go through the drive through and the people keep saying , "huh?" over and over again. When you finally think you have made yourself understood, they completely mess up your order. That has happened to me way too many times, so I usually go inside and order it to go.

I wouldn't be able to go through a Subway drive through, I gotta be able to watch them making the sandwich. They always seem to screw it up even when I'm right there in front of them.

I call your bluff! You love Taco Johns!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the Subway in Ankeny had a drive-thru!

Taco Johns isnt fast food. The ingredients are hand selected from the freshest gardens by Juan Valdez (when hes not picking beans in Columbia.) All of the meats are carefull chosen and then roasted to perfection. The potato oles are lightly fried in organic oils and then dashed with a kiss of seasoning. When this is all done, Troy slaps it into a taco shell, wraps it in paper and then shoves it into your to go bag. Have a nice day.

I do, but I have only been there once in the last 6 months. It just kills me to eat it, I guess I can eat the plain bean burritos, but nothing fried.

Yeah that baby diharrea meat is hand selected, from only the finest scraps that fell on the floor.

And you love it! Have you ever wondered how they get the meat to bead really small? When I cook ground beef it always ends up in bigger chunks.

Totally agree on going in to order to go. I love seeing a line of 10 some cars I walk in and back out beofre they've gotten 2 cars through the line. Big plus too seeing your order put together making sure it's right. But the biggest plus is all the Coke you can drink before your order's ready and you put the lid on out the door!

It is the added sawdust that helps it get small like that.
