Just give it up, bro. :wink:Maybe someone should just post the old Waynes World/Steele Jantz picture for old times sake. You know, the one that always got posted when I was the only one that thought Jantz would be the starting QB.

People keep saying this, but with the replay they showed on TV with the viewpoint behind Steele, that ball looked pretty high. It looked like the receiver went up about as high as he could and still barely got a piece of it. I could be remembering it wrong but I think that int was on Steele.Interception wasn't his fault, TE tipped it up when it could have been caught. But what do I know.

This is correct. From the angle they showed on T.V., Ricky Howard was at his highest point and he barely got his fingers on the ball. It also appeared to be a little behind him.
Yeah from that angle is doesn't look as bad, but I think it's deceptive. If you get a chance to see the TV replay with the camera behind Steele it looks worse. Like I said the TE went up as high as he could go and still barely got his fingers on it.Check at 45s: CFTV: Iowa State/Tulsa Highlight Tape | News | Football | Cyclone Fanatic
There is absolutely no way that is behind him, and that ball looks extremely catchable.

I'd say overall he looked good, not great, but good. The interception was his fault, but he did throw a real nice ball to Lenz on the TD. Showed pretty good decision making on the read option most times too.
fyi it was hammerschmidt that tipped the int pretty clearly #86 on the tape
