He's more than earned it in my opinion too. He keeps proving people wrong. Color me a Bubu fan.

Let's do a Bubu a bigger service and get him a Big 12 championship or Final Four before he graduates. I'll bet he would trade either one of those for another year of scholarship any day and twice on Sundays.

I'm a Bubu fan too.

I don't get the hate for Bubu, especially after his play against both Uconn and Kentucky.

What he did wasn't always a thing of beauty, but it was almost always effective, and you never questioned the the level of effort you get from him.

There's a big difference between "hate" and not wanting to give the guy a scholly. He came to ISU as a walk-on; it's not like he was brought in under the impression he would have one, and then it was taken away.

Best of luck Jordan!

Ha Railey is different than Sledge. Railey was a recruiting miss and was a project. Sledge was much more highly recruited and touted.

Either way...im happy the dead weight is leaving so we can upgrade in some key positions.

I wish them both luck.

Same here. I really like Bubu but I don't see a scholarship for him next year. Upgrade the talent with scholarship offers.

I hope both Railey and Sledge find good landing spots and can succeed in the future.

However, I'm glad we won't ever have the scare that Jordan is starting for us in a NCAA tournament game again.

Shocker.

Good luck to Jordan. I hope he can be successful wherever he ends up.

What some guys/posters always miss is that you'll always have scholly's 10 - 13 that won't see the court much. Doesn't mean they suck or didn't pan out. Sledge just wasn't as good as players in front of him....didn't play much. Railey, same thing, other players were better.

Why give Bubu a scholarship? His dad is a professor at ISU, I am guessing he gets his tuition for free, if ISU is like most every other school in the country. If we can use that scholarship on someone who will help the team I am sure Bubu doesn't care.

doesnt bubu already go to school for free? parent(s) are professors at ISU. if thats the case, he wouldnt 'need' a scholly.
Children of professors do not get free tuition in Iowa, if I remember correctly.
